Although I'm not as medically fragile, I share some of the daily anxieties of living this kind of life. I've had my father help me with care the last 5 yrs and I can see the toll it takes on him: the many hours in the ER, constant advocating for care and dealing with medical bills.

It's very hard to plan for the future. I didn't think I'd even live this long! But God has been so gracious. I've seen him work in my life, bringing my father back after 18 yrs and drawing me back to the Lord. I can honestly say, I'd rather be physically broken with Jesus, than whole without him! Keep trusting in Jesus, you will be with your son in eternity. As much as things suck, set your mind on things above. Nothing lasts here and this ship is sinking fast!

In Christ

-Nic Nickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08169241243474267251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27427303.post-71215394234112675652013-03-24T18:10:36.811-05:002013-03-24T18:10:36.811-05:00I swear, you take the words right from me. If peo...I swear, you take the words right from me. If people only knew... Three years later, I find myself just saying " fine" when people ask how Talon is. It's too exhausting, the questions, the explanations, the reality that they could never imagine, and most of the times, don't even TRY to imagine. If I didn't know of other mito moms, I don't know where I would be. Sorry we are walking the same path, but so grateful there is someone out there who completely understands. I hope Braden turns around and what ever he may be fighting, can be managed at home. Prayers for all of you!Krissyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13408430420543626818noreply@blogger.com
